The HP Tuners E90/T93 Upgrade Kit enables tuning access for modern GM vehicles equipped with the E90 Engine Control Module (ECM) and T93 Transmission Control Module (TCM).

These controllers include factory security that prevents tuning through the OBDII port. The upgrade process removes those restrictions so your Throttle Republic RTD device can communicate with your vehicle for calibration and diagnostics.

Traditionally this upgrade required expensive hardware that most enthusiasts only use once. Throttle Republic now offers a rental solution, allowing you to perform the unlock at a fraction of the cost of purchasing the cable.

This is the perfect option for enthusiasts with one vehicle to unlock who do not want to purchase the full hardware kit.

How the Rental Program Works

Follow these steps for the best checkout experience:

  1. Select your rental date above.

  2. Your order will ship UPS 2 Day Air for FREE.

  3. A $255 core charge will be applied at checkout.

  4. The core charge is fully refunded once the cable is returned.

  5. You will have 7 full days to use the cable once the shipment arrives.

  6. Ship the cable back on the 8th day using the FREE return label provided.

  7. Once the cable arrives back at our facility, the $255 core charge will be refunded.

This process allows you to unlock your controllers quickly without purchasing hardware you may never use again.
